(formerly known as Wycombe Winter Night Shelter) www.wyhoc.org.uk WWNS is a registered charity based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The charity was established in 2007 to provide shelter and support to those who find themselves homeless during the winter months of the year. Operating between January and March the charity manages seven teams of volunteers at seven different venues for seven nights a week, which collectively provide the one resource which is Wycombe Winter Night Shelter. Each night of the shelter guests receive a hot evening meal, a bed for the night and a cooked breakfast in the morning. As well as providing for the most basic of needs that many of us take for granted there also comes conversation, friendship and the offer of support to begin help solve the problems faced by our guests Marlow Refeugee Action Group
The purpose of this group is to provide a coordinated Marlow response to the refugee crisis. There are many grass-roots organisations around the country that have sprung up because people want to do something to help. We believe that the same may be true in Marlow and we are here to facilitate that response. The aims of the Marlow Refugee Action group are to:
