Wycombe Deanery Mission Fund 2026

We are delighted to open the applications for the Deanery Mission Fund for 2026 at Deanery Synod on 6th July. Please note that the deadline for applications this year is Friday 30th October. 

The Deanery Mission Fund exists to support and encourage:
  • New missional initiatives that will take place within or on behalf of the Deanery
  • New capital projects, and items for use in churches within the Deanery
We hope to award grants which are in line with our current Deanery priorities:
  • Strengthening the next generation
  • Discerning opportunities for new congregations
  • Developing clergy for lifelong mission and ministry
  • Supporting churchwardens and lay leaders
​Here are some past projects which have benefitted from the Deanery Mission Fund

  • St. Paul’s, Wooburn, for Sound System, Hearing Loop and Music Remedial Work
  • St Mary the Virgin, Hambleden, for purchase of a digital piano
  • St Michael & All Angels, Hughenden, for Equipment capital purchase for children & youthwork & church screen for Community Choir/services 
  • St James, Downley, for resources for Messy Church as it continues to grow 
  • St Francis, Terriers, Setup of Little Nest Toddler Group and Sunday club
  • Christ Church, Flackwell Heath,  School uniform supply project
  • St Mark’s, Bourne End, Church Garden for the community
  • Holy Trinity, Lane End, Churchyard Eco project
  • Christ the Servant King, HW, for children’s work and  webpages update
  • Hambleden Valley Group of churches for Wild Church resources and publicity
  • St Peter's, Loudwater, Youth weekend away
