The Deanery Leadership Team

Caroline Sants, Lay Chair

Caroline became a Christian while a member of a tiny congregation in rural Oxfordshire, A series of what seemed like disasters at the time resulted in her becoming a very inexperienced church warden facing a 4-year interregnum while a Deanery reorganisation took place. It was certainly a time of great learning.
Caroline spent 3 years at Wycliffe Hall in Oxford as an independent student followed by many years in large churches in Oxford and then London.
In 2018 she moved to beautiful Turville in the Hambleden Valley where she is Church Warden of St Mary’s Church. Before becoming Lay Chair, Caroline helped organise the Rural Review for the Wycombe deanery.
